Observing how paint moves over a surface and how the colours settle in harmony, whether they flow and fuse or collide and clash is of consequence to the final outcome of Nicky's painting. By continuously exploring the diverse ways in which paint moves over the surface she aims to create an interesting and captivating image.

Nicky believes colour is an essential element of our well being which becomes an integral part of our day-to-day lives, effecting and influencing our moods. The colours involved in her abstract paintings are worked with an intention to absorb the viewer into a personal space and uplift the soul.

Nicky's work is ever changing, developing and evolving from her constant observation of every day life surrounded by colour.
